Accessibility: The Loriston is a three-storey Victorian terrace house without a lift. There are no guest bedrooms on the ground floor, all bedrooms are accessible via stairs only. We are happy to help you with your luggage if needed - please let us know prior to arrival.
Breakfast: We are a room-only guesthouse. Hot snacks and packed lunches may be available - please contact us to for details. If you wish to have a cooked breakfast, we are happy to provide directions to places nearby that offer great breakfast/lunch for all budgets and diets.
Bicycles: We may be able to store you bikes, but space is limited. Please enquire before you book.
Children: We are sorry but we are unable to accommodate children under 10 nor infants. We can't accommodate more than two people per room as there's no capacity for extra beds in rooms. We reserve the right to refuse check-in if you don't notify us about young children coming to the property.
Cancellation: You will be charged the first night if you cancel or modify your booking before 7 days to check in date. If you cancel within 7 days to check in date, you will be charged the whole amount.
Check-In: Our normal check-in hours are 16.00-19.00. You may be able to check-in between 19.00-21.00 by prior arrangement only - please contact us to discuss. It's not normally possible to check-in after 21.00 as we don't have a 24 hour concierge.
Self Check-In: There may be times when you will be required to self check-in. Instructions how to do this will be provided to you via email and text, so please make sure you provide a phone number or an email when you book that you can easily reach on arrival.
Check-Out: Our check-out time is 10.00. Late check out by prior arrangement only and must be agreed in advance. N.B.: If you fail to notify us in advance, late check-out will always incur a fee of £20 per hour or part thereof.
Discount Codes: Please insert the code in the box on booking page to receive your discount. Discount codes are valid for direct bookings only and promotion available for a limited time. only. Some dates are excluded. We reserve the right to withdraw/change the code at any time.
Double/Twin Rooms: Our Standard Double rooms can also be arranged as Twin Rooms. Please let us know when you book.
Environmental Policy: We try to be nature friendly and recycle as much as we can where possible. Please use separate bins provided for packaging that can be recycled.
Parking: During busy periods and weekends we strongly recommend taking a train or a coach to Eastbourne as you will not need a car unless you are planning to travel out of town. We don't have any dedicated parking available and not able to hold or reserve any spaces. Free public parking on "free for all" basis is available in St Aubyns Rd, Latimer Rd, Marine Rd, Seaside Rd. Pay and Display parking is available on seafront (Royal Parade) and also car park adjacent Treasure Island/Beach Deck (5-7 mins walk along the seafront). You can see our location here.
Parking Vouchers: We can provide free parking vouchers for parking within Zone H, these can be picked up on arrival. Please note that free vouchers are only available to guests who book directly with us, either by phone or on-line. This offer does not apply to bookings made via third party sites.
Pets: Sorry no pets allowed.
Payment: Your card may be charged 100% of the price anytime after you book.
Security Deposit: If you choose to pay for your booking using PayPal or similar, including Virtual Credit Card, we may have to charge a security deposit when you arrive. This will be refunded to you within 48 hours after you check out, provided everything is in order.
Welcome Drink: Drink of your choice from our honesty fridge, 1 free drink per person available for direct bookings only.
