The Eastbourne air show has been running for 15 years and an estimated 800,000 people attend, there is a mix of fast jets, freefall parachutists, aerobatics, helicopters and old war birds, and as always the famous red arrows. There is also a wide range of trade stands for all age groups. There is plenty of evening entertainment including the big band, the bandstand, and the breathtaking firework finale.

There is a wide range of displays including the RAF, Army, and Royal Navy, international and non-military. Flying display times will be Thursday 1pm, Friday 12.30, saurday 11.30, Sunday 12.15. Flying continues each day until 5pm, plus 8pm sunset ceremony fly-past at Eastbourne bandstand.

Other attraction will be children’s entertainment, helicopter rides, Airbourne funfair [princess park @ 14.00-22.00 each day], Dairylea team extreme tour, Royal Navy and Royal Marines and steam railway.

By car
- main road into Eastbourne a22 & a23 from London , a27 linking Hastings , Dover and the channel tunnel, a259 & a27 from Brighton.

By air

– Newhaven port is 30 minutes and Dover is 2 hours via A 259.

Car parking

There are car parks at five acre field which is at the eastern end of the seafront open Thursday to Sunday, opens at 08.00am, all roads will be sign posted. There is also a bus service running to and from the Airbourne site.

St Andrews school field is at the western end of the seafront -opens sat-sun only from 08.00pm. There will be traffic updates and parking info on radio Airbourne 87.7fm throughout the weekend.
